Taking off from Los Angeles International Airport, the Pacific Ocean under the portholes was like a metal plate polished by sunlight, shining with a cold light. A flight of over ten hours, packed with time difference, anticipation, and anxiety, landed in the warm air of California. For many families planning to embark on an assisted reproductive journey in the United States, choosing a reliable, transparent, and technologically advanced reproductive center is the first step in a long journey. Over the past six months, we have conducted on-site visits to seven mainstream reproductive institutions in the three major regions of Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego. We have scored these institutions based on six dimensions: laboratory hardware, doctor background, medical process, cost structure, Chinese language services, and accommodation and transportation, forming this "good pregnancy" map. 7. UCLA Health Reproductive Center

Academic medical giant, with top-notch laboratory research capabilities and the largest embryonic stem cell bank in California. The medical team has published the most NEJM and JAMA papers. However, academic resources are prioritized for internal research, and the waiting time for initial diagnosis can be as long as 6-8 weeks; The Chinese service is weak, only providing telephone interpretation without on-site translation.

5、 Cost evaluation: What are the differences in the same cycle?

• SCRC Beverly Hills：The land price is expensive, with an average price of $450 per night for five-star hotels in the surrounding area. If the budget is sufficient, Beverly Wilshire can be chosen; Economy oriented options may consider Airbnb, but parking spaces need to be confirmed.
• La Jolla IVF：La Jolla Cove boasts stunning scenery, and we highly recommend La Valencia Resort, a Spanish red roofed building with a window view of the sea. Every evening, you can take a walk to see seals, with an emotional score of+10.

10、 Risk Warning and Ethical Boundaries

Going to the United States for assisted reproduction is not a 'zero risk journey'. Legally, California allows genetic testing in embryo laboratories, but prohibits sex preference selection for non-medical reasons. At the medical level, ovulation inducing drugs may cause ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), with an incidence rate of about 1-3%, and severe cases require abdominal puncture drainage. At the financial level, American hospitals generally adopt a "pay per use" approach. If the cycle is cancelled, refunds can be made for projects that have not occurred, but refunds cannot be made for drugs and surgical fees already used. On a psychological level, being alone in a different place, language barriers, and hormonal fluctuations can cause anxiety levels to soar.
